Assassin’s creed Origins review
PC

There were really great video game releases last year,2017, but 2018 has proven to be equally if not more exciting as with the likes of super Mario odyssey, Horizon zero Down and many more. The game changer for this year is Assassin’s creed Origins, yes you heard it right the first time Assassin’s Creed Origins. Ubisoft the firm responsible for the development of the Assassin’s Creed game franchises.

Ubisoft, after taking a break in 2016 for reasons best known to the firm’s management and other key persons related directly or indirectly to the assassin’s creed series. The Assassin’s Creed series of the game has always come short of expectations, perhaps that’s the question the handlers have gone to address in the last break they took. The new series departs fairly from the norms set by previous versions of the game. Set in ancient Egypt, assassin’s creed is an open world type of game that has 40 levels of difficulty.

Surprisingly the location adapted for use in the game did not deter the graphical quality of same, this might be the beginning of a new trend in the series, it’s quite cool anyway.  Assassin’s Creed series has always seen the world in an action/adventure light.

The new release (assassin’s creed Origins) does not beg to differ, it rather upholds this opinion. Bayek of Diesel a medjay (sheriff) in his community in 49 B.C.E., having experienced a personal tragedy, hunts down a gang of bad guys, a sort of Powerful association by which the affairs of the region are being directed. His wife ‘Aya’ joins him on his journey of revenge and they both carry out secret missions to take down the cabal. That’s the storyline.

Even though the game does not get feature an online multiplayer option, and having continued in the steps of previous versions of assassin’s creed in lacking in original idea and a little discordance in the combat mechanisms, assassin’s creed Origins has an unarguable sense of discovery deserving of a great game.
